Landscape Photography
Los Angeles (Los Feliz), CaliforniaMost of the photography that I do involves taking pictures of homes that are being built or renovated. Here is a look at a project that is currently on hold. It will be a progressive video/slideshow of the remodeled home, from start to finish. This place is going to look awesome when it is finished! My favorite angle is this poolside shot of the house. Parrot in the Avocado Tree
I was fortunate to capture this shot, while living at my old place. Apparently, these birds are not new to Southern California. According to articles that I've found, feral (wild) parrots may have been around since the early 1960's. A brush fire might have been responsible for the release of some of the birds. Interesting stories; however, I still would like to teach the parrots in my neighborhood how to speak. It would be more pleasant sounding noise (LoL). UPDATED: 11/17/17
Here is a link to some parrot stories. Monrovia, CaliforniaA Day at the Beach
As you can see, taking pictures of animals is a fun hobbie of mine. I also enjoy taking scenic shots. It is thrilling when you are able to capture both. Birds flying accross the beach are a scenic favorite.
Laguna Beach, CaliforniaThe Annual Autoshow in Old Town Monrovia
I'm known for taking pictures at car shows. This city prides itself on its collection of vintage shops, historic landmarks, and restored automobiles. Each year, the Annual Old Town Autoshow brings together a collection of cars that have been captured in time. The sample slides below are from the 2016 Autoshow. Updated content is coming soon! UPDATE 4/01/18: I was happy to cature this shot in my new neighborhood! Parrots love avocados; however, they really like hiding in palm trees too. Camera used: Nikon D5300 with a 55-200mm lens.
SHOWCASE: Classic Car For Sale- SOLD
This 1963 Studabaker was for sale in Monrovia. The owner (or person that I contacted by phone) gave me a little history about the car. The original colors were green and yellow. I'm sure that whomever bought this car will be happy with a complete restoration. In my opinion, it looks good without it. It would be an excellent background for an apocolyptic sci-fi film. This car has been sold. Updated: 7/24/23
